Inspired by The Queen’s Gambit, I recreated its iconic chessboard through a fully procedural setup in Houdini.♟️

This tool allows you to generate and customize chessboards that adapt to three different game modes — Chess, Checkers, and Halma. You can even recreate ongoing matches with randomized or “non-legal” piece layouts and control over captured pieces.

Built entirely in Houdini, it combines procedural modeling, logic-driven positioning, and a modular design to keep everything flexible and reusable.
